Fishing 9th St. Pier in Benicia
The 9th Street Pier and Boat Launch in Benicia might be a small pier to fish on, but it makes up for it in action because the fishing here is usually pretty good for stripers, an occasional sturgeon, and even salmon when they're running up the Strait to the Sacramento River and beyond.
This place is also a great boat launch for anyone with a boat who wants to fish the Strait, or down the way at the Napa River. It also has pretty decent bathrooms and a nice, big parking lot.
